The City of Silverton and Silver Falls School District have formed a partnership to support, maintain, and operate Silverton's local access cable channel, SCAN-TV. This partnership started November of 2006 and has continued to this day. Click to SCAN-TV's website

1-23-10 For the passed two months SCAN-TV has been broadcasting LIVE all the Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball games. After the games are broadcast live then usually the games are rebroadcast again the next business day. Check the schedule at
www.scan-tv.org for data and time.
SCAN-TV to looking for videos that are produced by local citizens. If you or your organization has a video that you would like us to broadcast then please contact us as to how we can make that happen.
For the first time in SCAN-TV's history we have successfully broadcast all of Silverton High School's home Football games live. That's right, LIVE! Now that football season is over we soon will be focusing our attention on basketball and wrestling. If you can't make it to the game(s) and have access to Silverton's Cable network
then tune in to SCAN-TV on channel 15 and watch the game.
Check our programming guide for date and time of broadcast. If you do not have access to cable, then no problem, catch the game live on this website. If for some reason you missed the game altogether then no problem. The game is recorded on DVD and you can puchase your own copy for onlly $10. Just contact Gary Marshall at gm@silverfalls.k12.or.us.
Students
Students play an important part in producing and maintaining content on SCAN-TV Most students are enrolled in the Video Production Class at Silverton High School and it is there that they learn how to film, edit, and produce video for SCAN-TV.
Volunteers
If you are interested in getting involved in SCAN-TV there are a variety of interesting jobs that are available for those who would like to volunteer their time. Whether it is filming, editing, one of many other video related jobs please contact us to see where your skills and time can be best utilized.
